This is simply the most exciting embroidery/quilting technique to come along in ages! Thirty-six pieced and embellished in the hoop blocks make up a stunning 50″ x 50″ quilt (or 30″ x 30″, depending on the capability of your embroidery machine). Quilt as you go, everything is done in the hoop: piecing, embroidery, decorative stitching and quilting. Several interesting techniques are done on this quilt. You’ll get a new block to stitch each month, along with complete instructions for finishing the block, as well as directions as to how many of each block to stitch. You will receive a CD with complete instructions at each session.

Come join Rosemarie and make a lidded basketful of coasters from cotton rope, fabric, and thread. This wrapping and coiling technique is carefree sewing at its best! The raw edges are showing? Who cares! Your machine stitches show? Again, who cares! Throw caution to the wind and come play. You’ll learn to shape your basket and lid, to form straight sides or angled ones. This technique is highly addictive and a stash whacker to boot. By learning this basic technique, you can make any shape basket with a matching lid. Suitable for any basic zig-zag machine.
